Notable lecturers • We have an outstanding pool of lecturers • Many teach classes for TT faculty course releases • A few have expertise not found in the TT faculty that we rely on for service obligations, such as: • Dr. Penny Perkins – human anatomy, physiology, and histology.
Faculty research Over the past five years biology faculty have: • produced 129 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters • presented 132 talks and posters (often given by students) • Acquired over $10M in external support from NIH, NSF, USDA, and other state and federal agencies.
