Scenario 1 I am new to the OIP process and want to understand how my value-added information fits into the work of my DLT Matrix of Achievement and Progress (MAAP)
Scenario 2: Stage 4 OIP • Our BLT (Elementary A) has been working on our plan and want to determine if we can use value-added information to help us evaluate our progress. • Reminder: Was the program effective?
Scenario 3 • Our building has been working to establish our TBT’s. How can they use value-added information to help determine their improvement priorities, goals and strategies?
The Five Step TBT Process • Step 1: Collect and chart data • Step 2: Analyze student work specific to the data • Step 3: Establish expectations for implementing specific changes in the classroom • Step 4: Implement changes consistently across all classrooms • Step 5: Collect, chart, analyze post assessment data then discuss successes and challenges and make decisions based on results
