The bullies vs the victims • In predominately white schools the abuse given by bullies tends to be on the quiet side. Starting rumors, writing on bathroom walls, sending letters to the victims home… • In predominately African-American schools the abuse is more physical and outward. • Wanting to be part of the popular group… • Keep going back to the ones who bully them because they feel they have no where to go… • They don’t feel like they can tell anyone because no one will believe them… • Sometimes end up becoming a bully later in life…
