Colorado State University Libraries Digital Repository • An open access, online environment for scholarship, research, and creative works created by CSU faculty, researchers, and students. • At present, manly copies of research papers and other textual materials. • But data is on the horizon.
CSU Digital Repository could accommodate small-scale data sets at present. • Exploring how to incorporate data into the repository with a CSU faculty member who has a legacy data-set. • Looking at how to bring into repository, how to provide preservation, and access. • Data needs are a looming issue – we know the need is there.
Current data capacity and future needs (based on anticipated data needs of CSU researchers with NSF grants, summer 2009).
At a minimum, please consider depositing the your papers, presentations, etc. that are related to your GIS work into the digital repository. • CSU Digital Repository: • http://digitool.library.colostate.edu • About the Digital Repository: • http://lib.colostate.edu/repository/
