  1. After IPCC 2006 Volume 4 Chapter 1 Carbon – a GROWINGissue There is as yet no agreed way to calculate the carbon foot print of a farm …..so how can sensible policy be formulated ? Currently the emissions are calculated by identifying emission sources and multiplying by national emission factors Can the farmer be credited for the carbon captured in the growing crop ? But what should be included ?
