  3. THE BASICS • Practice & Role Play • Buddy up with someone else in your Troop who loves to fundraise • Always go with Grown-up into neighborhoods you know when selling door to door. BE SAFE!!!! • Dress for Success • Wear your AHG uniform • Put a smile on face and joy in your heart • Prayers, Practice, Manners and Smiles go a long way to your success & helping your Troop meet it’s goals 

  7. SALES TIP #4 TURN NO’S INTO YES’S APPROACH • "I understand you can't purchase the chocolate for XYZ reason.. • ... however would you like to purchase a Candy Bar/Box from our Troop to donate to the XYZ Charity in your name?

MORE TIPS • Prayers, Practice, Manners and Smiles go a long way to your selling success & helping your Troop meet it’s goals • Consider making simple Thank You Cards to hand out to your customer’s • Make sure to add your name, contact info and Troop Info • Customer don’t care how much you know until they KNOW how much YOU CARE • If you have product in hand, consider letting your customer sample a piece – it’s really yummy 
