  3. Solving ecological problems using SEED educational materials Project “Cleaning oil pollution from the waters of the Ob River”

  4. Problem • We live in a territory where the oil industry is very active. Ob River is a major water artery through our region and oil pipes go through it. • Sometimes oil pollution occurs, which leads to ecological problems.

  5. Goal • We decided to create a device for cleaning oil pollution from the water surface.

  6. Tasks • Learn what kind of damage the oil does to the environment • Create a working prototype for cleaning oil pollution • Test our prototype in real conditions
