Working out the Bundles Building the Bundle Configuration Select 1 of the iSCSI bundles: FAS250, FAS270 or FAS270C Select the CIFS license Select 1 of 3 SnapBundles: SnapManager for Exchange bundle, SnapManager for SQL Server or SnapManager Windows Premium (which includes both SnapManager licenses and CIFS). All 3 bundles also include SnapRestore and SnapDrive licenses (5 x SnapDrive licenses are included – if FAS250 is selected then only 2 x SnapDrive) Configure Storage: a. FAS250 and FAS270C each have a configuration where at least 14 144GB 10k rpm FC drives are required b. FAS270 has an option with 4x 72GB 15k rpm FC drive minimum, to which the DSX-3.5TB-QS-C 250GB SATA must also be added c. FAS270C (Bundle A) must be configured with 14 x 144Gb FC drives (2Tb RAW) c. FAS270C has an option with 8x 72GB 10k rpm FC drive minimum, to which the DSX-3.5TB-QS-C 250GB SATA shelf must also be added for Bundle B Note: Any of these system configuration options can be configured with MORE storage, e.g. a full shelf of 72GB 10k FC for b or c, and be eligible for this promotion and PVR treatment. The storage amounts indicated are minimums. Services are then added (at required customer levels) Base config is now complete Add additional SnapDrive licenses if required and configure Single Mailbox Recovery licenses as needed Working out the Discounts Discounts for each bundle can be calculated by following the instructions on the following slides. Once discounts are calculated: • Apply standard Partner discounts to the whole quote • Then enter the calculated combined discounts against each appropriate line item (iSAN Bundle, CIFS Software or SATA drives) into the “Discount %” column • This will generate your final promotion pricing for this config.
