Yes/No Questions How do we ask yes/no questions in English? You like ice cream.

Yes/No Questions Agricolanepuellamamat? -NE: the interrogative enclitic particle interrogative: asks questions enclitic: “leans on” a word particle: untranslatable part of a word -no expectation about the answer Nōnneagricolapuellamamat? -NONNE: non + -ne = expects a YES answer
