Dynamics of New Hire Training Background • Late in 2006 moving into 2007 we discussed the “low time” and “lower experienced” pilot market! Initial AQP data showed trends that required additional training resources. • In 2008 AQP trends and analysis showed us that we needed to concentrate on the first time Continuing Qualification crew members. • Changes were made and the results were seen immediately.
Dynamics of New Hire Training Advanced Qualification Program for the Initial Pilot Training • To define additional training requirements. • Identified the needed information to make a New Hire Pilot successful. • Outline of the Launch Program. • Ground School Sessions (Subjects Covered). • Simulator Sessions (FTD/ Full Flight Simulator). • Advanced Qualification Program data gave us a way to provide the needs of a New Hire pilot regardless of experience level entering the airline training environment.

De-Brief - Deviations occur from the prescribed qualifications standards that are recognized and most corrected. Individual or crew performance meets expectations. CRM skills are effective. # 3. Standard - Minor deviations occur from the prescribed qualifications standards that are recognized and corrected in a timely matter. Individual or crew performance meets expectations.
