Definition • Institutional Effectiveness is an ongoing, comprehensive, and institutionally integrated system, composed of several levels of complementary processes of planning, assessment, and evaluation designed to enhance and improve the institution, as well as demonstrate to what degree the institution has been effective in fulfilling or achieving its stated mission or purpose.
