  18. Creating Your Style… Project for Today • The class will be divided into six groups. Each group will be assigned to a specific type of Dental Practice • You will work together as a group of Dental Hygienists in a successful Dental Practice. Your project is to create and develop an office theme comprised of your Professional Style for your specific Dental Practice and your Dental Practice Hygiene Department • You have 30 minutes to complete the project • Use the large poster board to display your Professional Style and theme • Once completed, each group will present what they have developed and created, and what we can all learn about your Professional Style for your specific Dental Practice and your Dental Practice Hygiene Department

Creating Your Style… Helpful Hints Use the various catalogs provided from popular dental companies and magazines for important ideas, products and pictures Use your imagination and creative skills. Cut out materials and arrange them on the poster board to represent your office theme Focus and identify the patient population of your specific Dental Practice. Focus and identify your specific Dental Practice objectives and goals Focus and identify the patient’s general and specific Dental and Hygiene needs Focus and identify your role to support and facilitate the Dental Practice and the Dental Practice Hygiene Department Create a successful Professional Style for your Dental Practice
