  4. JOHQ mission: JOHQ is the HQ responsible for planning, preparing and directing operations and national –multinational - joint exercises. JOM&SC - Mission The Joint Operations Modelling & Simulation Centre (JOM&SC) providessupport IOT accomplish the abovementionedmissionbycreating operational scenarios in a synthetic environment.

JOM&SC personnel participate in (or contribute to) the following activities/events: NATO M&S Group (NMSG); JTLS International Users Conference; NATO Training Federation (NTF) Configuration Control Board (CCB); I/ITSEC; CAX Forum; NATO CAX Operator Certification Course; “Steadfast” series CAX at Joint Warfare Centre (JWC); “SEESIM” series CAX; distributed/multiservice/multilevel CAX national network (based on CFBLNET). JOM&SC – Other activities

Conclusions • JOM&SC (CIMSO) focuses on Joint Operations M&S in the area of training (exercise) and OPS support (IOC to be establish in the short-term; • Higher-level expertise at national level in JTLS operations; • Consistent capability in organising and executing national level CAXs; • Support to international CAX with trained and mostly certified personnel; • Room for growth as far as OPS support is concerned
