Grade 6 – Chapter 2 • Genesis is the first book of the Bible. • Pentateuch is the name given of the first five (5) books of the Bible. Genesis Exodus Leviticus Numbers Deuteronomy
Grade 6 – Chapter 2 • The Torah (means “the law”) is the most important part of the Jewish Bible & is formed of these first 5 books. • Genesis contains the story of the formation of the people of God, including creation, the stories of Abraham & Moses & the beginnings of the Israelite nation. • **Our faith tells us God created everything!!
