The increase in the demand creates a temporary shortage, but that shortage disappears due to the increase in the price. The price adjustment is the market’s correction mechanism to the changing conditions. • Note that when you purchase a foreign made product, the cost of the production of that product is paid in foreign currency, hence somewhere between the production process and your purchase someone would have to convert your currency into that foreign currency in order to pay for the production.
