Create a foldable to learn about key locations and major conflicts after World War II, including the Korean War, Vietnam War, and Cuban Missile Crisis. Use political cartoons and textbook references to enhance understanding.

On each flap of the foldable, write: • 1. Location, Location, Location! • 2. 3 Major Conflicts • 3. Korean War 1950-1953 • 4. Vietnam War 1950-1973 • 5. Cuban Missile Crisis October 1962
1. Location, Location, Location! Directions: DO NOT CUT YET! 1. Write under the maps in this order: Korea Cuba Vietnam 2. Cut the 3 maps out by just cutting across, leaving all three intact. 3. Then, glue onto the bottom page as far to the fold as you can get it. 4. Make sure you don’t glue over the words Location, Location, Location!
2. 3 Major Conflicts • Cut out the “Major Conflicts in the Post-World War II era:” • Glue on to page 2 at the bottom, as close to the fold as you can get it. • Use your Blue Book page 16 to fill in the blanks. • Take care to do your best!
3. Korean War 1950-1953 • Cut out the political cartoon that relates to the Korean War. • Glue it to the top of page 3 above the fold. Beside the picture, write what you think the political cartoon means. • Read Textbook page 178 to complete this page of the foldable. • You will have to use the Atlas when indicated. • Do your best!
4. Vietnam War 1950-1973 • Cut out the political cartoon that relates to the Vietnam War. • Glue it to the top of page 4 above the fold. Beside the picture, write what you think the political cartoon means. • Read Textbook page 179 to complete this page of the foldable. • You will have to use the Atlas when indicated. • Do your best!
5. Cuban Missile Crisis October 1962 • Cut out the political cartoon that relates to the Cuban Missile Crisis. • Glue it to the top of page 5 above the fold. Beside the picture, write what you think the political cartoon means. • Read Textbook page 178 to complete this page of the foldable. • Be sure to read all of the foldable page and answer ALL the questions! • Do your best!
