  3. Encourage critical thinking in students • Change the pattern of questioning and paper setting • Focus on learning through practical work • Implement observation based learning • Encourage students to develop independent thinking and reassoning • Use available resources Short term goals:

Give more opportunities to students to acquire high order thinking • Time will be given for group discussion • Working on time lines and dead lines • Project and report based learning • Questions related to reasoning will be asked • Reading assignmennts will be conducted to help understand better Instructional Strategies and tasks

  5. challenges solution • The principal may not like my approach or might disapprove of it • Parents may not relate to my teaching strategies • Labs may not be available for practical work • I will share my course work and manuals with her to make her see the benefits of this approach • Parents will be invited to sit in the class room and observe themselves • Lab work will be conducted on availability of the labs Solutions to anticipated challenges
