  3. 2014 DEMO INTRO What is the PI Demo Account? • PI offers a demo account to our resellers in order to demo, train, test, and resell the product • The demo server is located on demo.ediinsight.com • The software is the same as the software on the production accounts • This is the same data that PI uses to demo the product to our clients • The user has the option to reset the demo during each login • The demo account resets itself every Sunday night • Each reseller can have unlimited logins to the demo database • All data is de-identified and has been updated to 2014 data

  4. 2014 DEMO HIGHLIGHTS Task Manager • Tasks have increased from 6 to 35! • The default new demo user (Sally Manager) has 8 tasks assigned to her on the default screen • Using Filter Tasks, the user can now see tasks for ALL task types in order to demo the functionality of Task Manager • Vendor users also have administrative default tasks • Tasks are assigned by user/job description • Tasks are now assigned based off of the type of user assigned to them, so that the demo tells a story • Tasks of every type • Tasks of every type now exist as defaults in the Task Manager • This allows resellers to demo EOB to ERA Lockbox/Direct services as well as new CHECK, RESPONSE, WORKLIST, and ERA tasks

  5. 2014 DEMO HIGHLIGHTS Claim Manager • All claim data is now 2014 data • Rejection types and scenarios are now more accurate and up-to-date • Claims of every type • The demo now includes Professional, Institutional, AND Dental claims • The demo also includes EPSDT, DME, Anesthesia, Worker’s Comp, and many other claim types • Secondary and Tertiary claims now exist in the demo • Clinical Claim Scrubbing available for 5010 demo file • The new 5010 claim file can also be used to show Clinical Claim Scrubbing

  6. 2014 DEMO HIGHLIGHTS Statement Manager • Estatements now available! • Email statements are now included in the new demo • The entire email process can be demoed from the new account • Patient facing email information is also available • Statement number increased from 8 to 43 • Statement data has been increased and made more diverse • Statements of all status types • New Statement Reports • Estatement Summary report now available • See Reports for more information

  7. 2014 DEMO HIGHLIGHTS Eligibility Manager • Eligibility requests increased from 24 to 40 • There are many more eligibility requests to view • Eligibility responses of every type • Now there are multiple coverage types to view • There are many more payer specific responses to view • Enhanced eligibility enrollment viewable • Enrollment and setup for enhanced eligibility is now viewable

  8. 2014 DEMO HIGHLIGHTS ERA and Denial Manager • All ERA data updated to 2014 • The transaction data is now more robust and up-to-date • Expected allowed “underpayments” now viewable • Under-allowed amounts will now display properly in the demo • Manage Tables now updated • Expected Amounts, Group/Reason Codes, and Working Payers are all updated with matching 2014 data • Transactions of every type • Paid, Denied, Pended, and Reversal statuses now available

  9. 2014 DEMO HIGHLIGHTS Search Tools • All reports in Report Manager are set to run on defaults • Now EVERY report can be run from the demo account with pre-set defaults • Check search now contains 100+ checks • Custom Rules updated • New customer-specific custom rules have been added to better show the rule functionality • Working Payers populated • The customer’s individual working payer list is now populated with payers for every transaction type

  11. 2014 DEMO HIGHLIGHTS Multiple User Logins • Resellers now have both customer facing AND reseller facing demo logins • Whenever a 2014 login account is created, 2 user logins are made; End-User and Reseller User. This happens immediately with no intervention from the login creator. • Benefits of both login types: • Resellers can now use the demo to train their own staff without being in live data • Tasks and Reports can now be run from an administrative standpoint • Login Format • Resellers create a login like they normally have (or use their existing and change to 2014. See 2014 Demo Access Slides.) • VEN_[login] is instantly created

  12. 2014 DEMO ACCESS How do I get the new 2014 demo? • There are 2 ways to get the new 2014 demo: Update existing login or Create a new login • Update existing login • Step 1: Login with your vendor master login (You should have received this at NCO training. If you need a copy of this, please contact PI Support) • Step 2: Find your current login and click EDIT • Step 3: Fill out ALL blank fields and update demo version: • Email (Your email) **Email is required for new Estmtfeature • Menu (end user menu – you can choose based on the products you resell) • Vendor Menu (vendor menu – you can choose based on the products you use) • Demo Version (2014) • Step 4: Save and click on All Users at the top • You should see both your new login AND your new vendor login (VEN_[login]). Both will use the same password.

If you need a copy of this, please contact PI Support) • Step 2: Click the ADD button • Step 3: Fill out ALL fields: • Name (Your name) • Login Name (Your login) • Email (Your email) **Email is required for new Estmt feature • Password (demo password) • Menu (end user menu – you can choose based on the products you resell) • Vendor Menu (vendor menu – you can choose based on the products you use) • Demo Version (2014) • Step 4: Save! • You should see both your new login AND your new vendor login (VEN_[login]). Both will use the same password.

INTEGRATED DEMO Practice Insight now offers an Integrated Demo! • The integrated demo will interface with your PM demo • If your users are sending claims and receiving responses automatically, we want the demo to reflect how they’ll actually be using the product • PI will work with you on getting the needed information for your integrated demo • Highlights of Integration: • Automatic custom claim file uploads • Claim and Scrubber responses posted to SFTP responses directory • 270/271 Real-time transmission • 835s delivered for auto-posting • Customized statements
