REASONS FOR IMPROVEMENT • TO REDUCE THE WATER CONSUMPTION BY PREVENTING THE LOSS OF WATER. • TO INCULCATE THE HABIT OF SAVING WATER ACROSS THE UNIT. • TO CREATE AWARENESS AMONG THE EMPLOYEES OF THE ORGANIZATION REGARDING SAVING OF WATER. • TO MINIMIZE THE LOSSES DUE TO NEGLIGENCE OF MANPOWER/PROCESS ERRORS /LEAKAGE/EXCESS UTILIZATION, ETC. • TO STUDY THE POSSIBILITIES OF REUSE OF WATER. • TO IMPROVE THE OVERALL FINANCIAL STABILITY AND GROWTH OF THE ORGANIZATION.

PROBLEM STATEMENT • DURING 2006-07, AVERAGE CONSUMPTION PER DAY WAS 1362.68 KL & AVERAGE MONTHLY BILL WAS RS 31 LAKHS. (AVERAGE MILK WATER RATIO IS 1: 4.54 WHICH WAS VERY HIGH.)
TARGETS TARGET:-1. The team has decided to bring down 25% of water consumption in the last qtr of 2007-08. TARGET:-2. The team decided to further bring down the water consumption by 20% of target 1 upto the middle of 2008-09. TARGET:-3. The team further decided to bring down the water consumption by 10% of target 2 upto the end of financial year 2008-09.
BRAIN STORMING 1.USE OF TUBEWELL WATER FOR CLEANING FLOOR OF SILO’S AREA, BY PRODUCT SECTION, POWDER ROOM. 2.RECIRCULATION OF SEAL COOLING WATER OF AMMONIA COMPRESSORS. 3.COLLECTION OF WATER FOR RE USE . -HEAD COOLING WATER OF AIR COMPRESSOR. -HEAD COOLING WATER OF POLY PACK MACHINES. -COLLECTION OF FINAL RINSE WATER OF SILOS. -COLLECTION OF FINAL RINSE WATER OF PST/RST TANKS.
