Someone says.... “Backsliding starts in such a subtle way that most of us are not aware of it, and many of us may be backslidden and may not realize it.”
The Definition of BACKSLIDING: Backsliding is turning away from God in one’s heart and loving forbidden things (1 Kings 11:9).
The Definition of BACKSLIDING: Backsliding is leaving one’s first love for Christ (Revelation 2:4).
The Definition of BACKSLIDING: Backsliding isfailing to walk in the light in fellowship with God (1 John 1:5-9).
A backslidden Christian is one whose communion with Christ is waning and whose faith is weakening.

Spiritual desires only come when there is communion with God.
