Agricultural Energy Management - Component 2 - Option 1 - CertificationGroup Criteria • Agricultural Energy Management Plan - Headquarters • Energy Audit Certification:Hold an Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) certification as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), or hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license. • Acceptable headquarters energy audits developed by a TSP who qualifies under Option 1 (Certification) will also satisfy energy audit requirements under the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP). Agricultural Energy Management - Component 2 - Option 2 - Education & ExperienceGroup Criteria • Agricultural Energy Management Plan - Headquarters • Energy Audit Education: A four-year engineering or architectural degree, or a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.), or Registered Architect (R.A.) with at least three years experience in energy engineering or energy management. • Energy Audit Experience: At least three (3) years of experience with energy systems, and the completion of five (5) on-farm energy audits. • Energy Audit References: Two professional references needed verifying audit work.
