  2. Summary Even in the era of file sharing apps and softwares, printing has its own space. No work goes forward until and unless you get the hard copy of the contract. every time we print something we need to think about the environment. Hence following are some tips for eco-friendly printing.

  3. Why green printing is important? Printing consumes lot of energy and trees. It also spreads volatile organic compounds (VOCs), that are harmful for the health. Copiers and printers are the most energy-intensive fixtures in the workspace. When you print less you use less energy that helps the environment as well as a business’s bottom line. Printing less trees can save thousands of trees and dollars. As per the study, average office employee uses 10, 000 sheets that means approximate 20 reams of paper each year, or more than one tree. Also you end up spending a lot of money on paper. In short, printing less means saving money. A standard printer ink has petroleum in it that produces volatile organic compounds or Vocs. They are emitted as gases from certain solids or liquids. It causes short term and long-term health problems.

  4. Needs to be some control on printing We all must be printing at least one page in a day. Imagine the amount of paper and energy that we use and harm the environment on the large scale. Imagine all the companies printing so many papers in a day. Just giving eco-friendly office supplies in the office is not enough, there needs to be some control on printing. If you can’t reduce the amount of prints that you take, then green printing is the option. Following are some ways through which you can achieve eco- friendly printing methods.
