Anti-Theft Detection Reader installed at the Gate reads all outgoing books Check if the book is already issued Make alarm if book is not issued
Why UHF over HF ? UHF HF • Old Technology • Low read range up to 20-25 cm maximum • Lower reading speed • Only 2-3 books can read at the same time • Gate reader detection is maximum 80-90 cm • Many HF implementations uses additional EAS label • Used in only limited applications and higher price • Advanced Technology • High Read range up to 8-10 meters • Higher reading speed • 8-10 books can be detected at the same time • Gate reader detection is can be up to 2 meters • No needs to use addition EAS labels for Anti-theft • Widely used in different applications & less price
Uniqueness of Stallion RFID Solution • Uses advanced UHF Technology • Compatible with different platforms such as • Windows, Linux, .NET, JAVA • RFID read/write operation can be done even on a Linux machine • Fully compatible with any browser based applications • RFID read/write operations can be done directly from browser itself • Not required to install any applications/drivers in client PC
