Conclusions • QRL Sector 78 & Sector 81 • First integration was really satisfactory • LHC Tunnel cryogenics • New architecture using UNICOS S7 • Tight scheduling involving many iterations • Commissioning: • Full structure for a sector: 4 gateways, 3 PLCs, ~ 2000 I/O • Communications between PLC & Gateway (IEPLC) • Under discussion: Return Module, RF • CIET • Prototyping phase (~ 2 months) • Missing tools: • Generation of the supervision configuration file • DB tool for FESA XML (device instantiation) Enrique Blanco AB/CO IS
