Issac Sir Isaac Newton born on 1642 became a mathematician and physicist and one of the most scientific intellects of all time. He is famous for the story of the apple falling in his orchard. He calculated the force needed to hold the Moon in its orbit, as compared with the force pulling an object to the ground.
Newton Sir Isaac Newton is well known for his theories on the Laws of Motion as well as the idea that all bodies exert a gravitational attraction on surrounding bodies.
Light Spectrum The discovery of spectrum: He basically experimented by allowing sunlight to pass through a prism into a dark chamber onto a white screen. He observed a band of seven colors on the screen. Then Isaac Newton conferred that sunlight or white light was made up of seven colors
Propagation of Light Rectilinear Propagation of Light: Newton also made a contribution towards proving that light travels in a straight line.
Velocity of sound The equation for the velocity of sound: Newton also made a major contribution to the calculation of velocity of sound.
Newton's laws of motion • Newton’s laws compose of three concepts. 1. It states that if the vector sum of all forces acting on an object is zero, then the acceleration of the object is zero and its velocity is constant. 2. It states that the force put to a body produces a proportional acceleration. 3. It states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Newton's First Law For example: The Soccer ball stays at rest unless acted upon by a force. The state at which it is at rest is equilibrium. An object in motion stays in motion at constant speed.
Newton’s Second Law For example: F=MA F=force M=mass A=acceleration Gravity Friction
Newton’s Third Law For example: The pull from the boy and the wall is equal to the pull from the boy and the elephant. That which equals 500N.
