Option #1: Non-objective multi-piece Non-objective Art= artwork that does not represent a person, place, or thing. Art that is “free form.” Focus is on form, space, and movement.
Option #2: Abstracted figure(s) Figurative= Artwork that contains or represents the human figure either in detail or symbolically. Abstracted= Altered / simplified imagery
Gesture drawing- quick sketch of a figure that “captures the pose”
Sculpture considerations: -Will you need or want a base or will your sculpture be free-standing or will it hang? -Will you incorporate other paper or fabrics? -WIll your sculpture be functional? -How will my sculpture create movement or convey action/emotion? -Will my sculpture have smooth flowing lines or straight hard edges?
