Recipes for your country • Choose six recipes typical to your country. They must be written legibly for other class members and be able to be completed within the class time. Remember to choose recipes where the ingredients can be purchased locally. • Look for recipes that fellow classmates will eat so there is no waste and that all will enjoy
Decorations You are to make or find decorations that are typical to your country. If you have any authentic articles you are welcome to use them as your decorations, otherwise a poster can be made. Explain this the day of your presentation
Market Order Before the lab presentations begin, each kitchen unit must supply a complete market order for me to take to the store and purchase all of the necessary food items for your country
Quiz Questions Write 5 quiz questions typical for your country. Need to be short essay and related to the food preparation or food related.
Your country’s day • Your group is to introduce the foods to be presented. If it is an unfamiliar recipe equate it to something typical in the US. Tell the group where the food item fits into a daily menu. • Tell if the food is served for a particular holiday or family tradition • Inform class of any particular serving methods for their type of food • This is to be done prior to the start of the lab.
