  2. Triumph in Christ • We all prefer victory over defeat • The Devil wants to defeat us… • He does not want us to win the race (1 Cor. 9:25) • He does not want us to win the battle (1 Tim. 6:12) • But, “in Christ” we can triumph (2 Cor. 2:14)

  3. Triumph in Christ Triumph Over… • Sin (Rom. 6:3-4,16-18; 2 Cor. 5:17) • Temptation (1 Cor. 10:13; Heb. 2:18; 4:14-16; Jas. 4:7; 2 Pet. 2:9) • Disappointments & hardships (2 Cor. 12:7-9; Phil. 4:11-13)

  5. Triumph in Christ • We triumph because Christ himself is triumphant (Col. 2:15) • We must follow God “who always leadeth us” in order to triumph (2 Cor. 2:14) • We must be “in Christ” in order to triumph (2 Cor. 2:14)
