Accused is a non-employee • If the accused is a non employee, use the form and make the calls immediately.
If the accused is an employee • If the accused is an employee, Please call Human Resources (ext. 2094) or the District Office immediately. • Use the form and call the Police to make the report. • DO NOT begin an investigation yourself. • DO NOT inform the accused of the situation. • DO NOT talk with anyone involved in the situation.
Impeding an investigation • It is imperative that you do not take matters into your own hands. • The law is set up for an independent investigation from a law enforcement agency in order to follow the proper procedures of our justice system. • This system is set up to protect students and educators alike. Safety is the highest priority in following these protocols.
