  11. What is difference between these sentences? The letter hasn’t arrived yet. This is present perfect and refers to the past and the present- in other words, we expect the letter will arrive. The letter didn’t arrive on Monday. This is simple past and the action refers to one moment in the past- Monday. It is finished and done. There is no reference or connection to the present.
