  1. Romy Minko Has an Excellent Academic Profile

  2. Romy Minko is a diligent professional with an excellent academic profile. As a student, she has received many awards for her brilliant performance. While studying at the Methodist Ladies’ College (2005-2010), she won “Award for Academic Excellence”, which is awarded only to the top 10% of students.

  3. In 2014, she got a place on the Dean's Honours List while studying at the University of Melbourne. The same year, she got Santander International Excellence Scholarship in Royal Holloway, University of London. The scholarship was awarded to students with the equivalent of a UK First Class Bachelor degree and excellent academic and personal profiles.

  4. In 2013, Romy Minko got the chance to perform laboratory work as part of her Chemistry major at the University of Melbourne. This work was conducted in a group & required a high level of analytical thinking & research for laboratory reports.

  5. In 2015, Romy attended “It All Adds Up: Celebrating Women across the Mathematical Sciences” at the University of Oxford. During the conference, she got the chance to listen to renowned female mathematicians as well as current PhD students. She also spoke to Kristin Lauter of Microsoft Research, who directed her towards the internship opportunities available to PhD students. The whole experience was phenomenal and gave her a boost to continue her education in the field of research.

  6. Currently, Romy Minko works as a Research Analyst at one of the leading property consulting firms in Melbourne – Charter Keck Cramer. Prior to this, she worked as a Customer Assistant with Dan Murphy’s for three years (2011–2014).
