Do you love me?..... Feed my sheep • The Haggai Institute • Purpose • The Haggai Institute advances the skills of qualified Christian leaders to more effectively evangelise their own people and train others to do the same. • Vision • Help ensure that the Gospel is presented in the power of the Holy Spirit with cultural relevance and sensitivity to all peoples, especially in non-evangelised nations. • Strategy • Emphasize the “how” of evangelism. • Target credible and competent business, professional, and religious leaders from strategic areas, including countries closed to traditional missionary endeavours. • Select faculty, primarily from Asia, Africa and Latin America, who are experts with continuously fresh “hands-on” experience in evangelism. • Employ highly interactive and catalytic teaching-learning methods. • Motivate leaders to advance the skills of others within the community of believers by transferring what they have learned. This multiplier effect produces exponential growth in the evangelization process. • Prepare leaders to develop ministry resources in their own countries using Biblical principles of stewardship. About the Facilitators PAULINE YEOH Pauline Yeoh is an international faculty for Haggai Institute in the Hawaii and Singapore training centers besides developing facilitators for the local alumni. She is involved in missions and previously served as a cell leader, co-ordinator for the women’s ministry and Sunday school teacher. • Haggai Institute • National Seminar • 19 – 24 October 2009 • In trying to keep up with today’s hectic life, it can be easy to lose sight of what is at the very heart of your life as a Christian – God’s love for you and His command that you reach out in love to others. • Main Purpose • This seminar is to equip and prepare a pool of competent leaders that desire to serve in evangelism. • To enhance the leadership skills and capabilities of individuals through training and coaching. • Who Should Attend? • We would encourage all Christian leaders who wants to equip himself or herself for evangelism. • All leaders who want to serve but require skills & techniques in communication. • All Christians who dare to step out of their comfort zone. • What Will You Gain? • In completing the seminar, participants will: • Rediscover the important role they play in God’s plan. • Recharge and develop new skills for service. • Rededicate their gifts, talents, finance, time and family to God. • Revive a deeper passion for evangelism. Pre- Seminar Assignment Prior to the training, each participant will need to write an essay of 1,500 words of “How to Present Christ Relevantly to My People.” Ideally, it should be an area that you are very passionate about and has hands-on experience rather than knowledge-based .
