  2. Walls…With NO Boundaries • Target Opening Date - Sept 2011 • New Build Budget $15.5 Million • Formation of the Corporate Fundraising Committee Goal: Raise $100,000

Walls…With NO Boundaries Community Passions • To ensure our children have what they need at school • To give above and beyond what the school board can give • To create an enjoyable environment with a solid sense of community • To have full access to extra-curricular activities • To establish an environment which allows our children to be the best they can be

  4. Walls…With NO Boundaries WHY? To see our community passions for our children become a reality: • Growth from 340 to 650+ • JK to 6 becomes JK to 8 • Part Time JK/SK becomes Full Time JK/SK • Two new F/I classrooms added each year for the next six years

  5. Walls…With NO Boundaries • MOE funds the New Build – Fundraising expands student opportunities • We want an above and beyond school with NO Boundaries to the learning environment • We want to support and encourage the community use of our school

  6. Walls…With NO Boundaries Music Program • To begin an instrument music program in our new school • Costing of basic, medium and high end programs: $34,000, $48,000 and $75,000 +

The process for raising funds is directed through the Hamilton Foundation What is the Hamilton Foundation? • Sole Purpose of funds is for the education of the student How do we use it? • Cheques are made payable to HWDSB Foundation and directed to Guy B. Brown • Cheques are mailed to the Hamilton Foundation, 100 Main Street West, P.O. Box 2558, Hamilton, ON L8N 3L1 • All information will be forthcoming on website: http:\\guybrown.hwdsb.on.ca

Walls…With NO Boundaries Corporate Fundraising Committee • Phase 1 • Donations by local corporations for which they will receive tax deductions or advertising write-offs • Positive press, name on donor plaque • Phase 2 • Community donations • Tax deductions, name on donor plaque • Helping to create an exceptional learning environment for our own children
