Activities • Exploring universal health care and experiencing the cultures in Taiwan • Visiting hospitals, making observations, and asking questions • Caring for the vulnerable - field trip to aboriginal tribes • Working with elementary school kids and elderly for health promotion purposes (activities include health education and home visits) • Sight seeing- bicycle riding is fun!

Recommended Teaching Strategies • Team up with local college students to work with non-English speaking people • For kids - games such as charades, show & tell, sing along, exercise/movement… bonfire • For elderly – handcrafts, card games, etc. • Be flexible and creative
