  2. “For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.” (Hebrews 10:36) • You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

  3. Persevere • Persevere: • To persist in anything undertaken; to maintain purpose in spite of difficulty, obstacles, or discouragement; to continue with steadfastness • You need to persevere if you want the promise • If you want to receive the promise you must walk in the will of God

  4. Persevere • The promise is always connected to the will of God.

  5. Patiently Persevere • God wants to prosper and not to harm you; He wants to give you a hope and a future. • Jeremiah 29:11-14 (NIV) • ‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope. ‘Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. ‘You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. ‘I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will restore your fortunes.

Patiently Persevere • Hope and a Future come from walking in the will of God! • “The thief comes only to steal, kill, and to destroy, but I am come that you may have life and that more abundantly.” (John 10:10) • When you go against the will of God you sabotage your own success – You allow the enemy to steal, kill, destroy.

Patiently Persevere • When you go against the will of God you sabotage your own success – You allow the enemy to steal, kill, destroy •  It is not easy to walk in the will of God, why, this is the “narrow way” and the “strait gate”, it takes discipline and perseverance. • Satan wants to destroy our life! Jesus wants to save and restore your life!

  8. Perseverance for success in 2013: • Spiritual Life: • Develop a culture of faith not a culture of fear (take the risk). Grow Deeper with God!

  9. Community Life: • Connect strongerwith your church and connection group members

  10. Stewardship Life: • Managing better and sharing greater because of financial faithfulness and financial blessing

  11. Outreach life: • Going wider in your circle of influence. Ask God for more compassion for the lost, the poor & the weak
