About your teacher… • I’m a graduate of the Tustin Unified School District. • I received my BA in Spanish from UC Santa Barbara, my Teaching Credential from UC Irvine, and I’m currently going to school for my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Concordia University. • I have lived in two foreign countries and have travelled to over 30. • I love to hike, run, go to the beach, read, learn anything new, scuba dive, travel, play tennis and softball, and teach!

  6. A computer program that helps kids with comprehension while earning wonderful prizes! Reading Counts Incentives for a Great Year of Reading Students will keep track of their own progress privately. Reading Counts is not part of students’ reading grade. 25 points: choosing a prize from the basket 50 points: 20 raffle tickets 75 points: Lunch Bunch 100 points: snack at your desk for a week 150 points: 40 raffle tickets 200 points: restaurant certificate 250 points: out to lunch with Miss Mahar 300 points: after school movie 350 points: dress your teacher
