  4. He was a secretive man • He keeps his thought to himself and not let his solders know what he is thinking. Secretive: A secretive person likes to keep their thoughts, intentions, or actions hidden from others:

  5. He was brave • He was decorated for bravery, receiving the Iron Cross First Class and the Black Wound Badge. •  Hitler asked for and received special permission to serve in the Bavarian-German army.  Bavarian: A country in the southeast of Germany.

  6. Loyal to his country • He participated in many wars for his country. • Hitler is willing to die for his country for World War 1. • Hitler heard the news of Germany's defeat and felt angry. • Adolf Hitler gambled a lot in his rise to power over the Reich
