STANDARD 1 The security will greet the patients and attendants with a warm smile and traditional Namaste.
STANDARD 2 The security will guide the patients discreetly with the staff member, partly escorting or moving with them, and use of open palm gesture (this could mean moving to a location where destination is visually clear. Once the guest is pointed in the right direction no need for a complete escort)
STANDARD 3 The security team should be firm with hospital protocol but at no point of time should be rude to the patient or attendant.
STANDARD 4 The security will ensure that the patient is offered a wheelchair if required.
STANDARD 5 The security and the valet parking associates will ensure quick valet parking facility to control the main porch traffic.
STANDARD 6 The security will control visitors during visiting hours in a more empathetic and professional manner emphasizing on Infection control and speedy recovery.
STANDARD 7 The security will check for attendant/ visitor pass before allowing them to respective wards.
STANDARD 8 The security will reassure the patients/attendants on the safety measures taken to safeguard their interests and personal belongings.
STANDARD 9 The security team will ensure that the "End of life care" is extended to the deceased family and follow all the medical and legal protocols.
STANDARD 10 In view of a theft and lost & found, the security will act as one point of contact to assist the patient and the attendant.
STANDARD 11 In case of an emergency (Fire, natural disaster etc.), security department will act as the operating command center of the hospital.
STANDARD 12 In case of child abduction, missing patient’s security will act as a single point of contact for the patient family.
