A manual thatcan be used in various situations to assist all kinds ofpeople to healthy and sustainableself-care.
The Manual – for what and whom? • The manual is a unique combination of European standards, theory, recipes and massage techniques that are an essential part to self-care. • The manual can be used by everyone but certain processes used for creating organic cosmetics are in need of certain equipment. • The first part of the manual is purely theoretical and then followed by more practical advice as well as recipes on manufacturing, treatments and massages. • The last part is mainly a tool for planning, conducting and assessing vocational training/ organic cosmetics in education.
The Manual – Modules • EU regulations and cosmetic standards • - The theoretical background of organic cosmetics, products longevity, labelling and European standards and regulations. • Description of different cosmetics products and what formulas are applied. Also, of course, their qualities and functional properties.

That means that the producer must learn how to be weary of manufacturing protocol, hygiene and product longevity.
The Manual – Modules 3. The use of essential oils This chapter explains both theory and practical beneficial definition and usage of essential oils also known as ATTARs, and waters that may be positive to a person’s well-being. We here also discover some of the fluids past and how they were revered in ancient Italy, Greece and Middle East.
The Manual – Modules 4. Performing beauty salon treatments This chapter is firstly an introduction to essential oils and their properties. Thereafter, massage techniques and various combinations are described to further the understanding, absorption and implementation of organic products.
The Manual – Modules 5. How to assess student’s performance This last chapter is on how you can visualize the VET-learners or even, personal, development using the Handicraft Process. In this process you move from thought to practical solutions which can and are very challenging for the VET learner. But also, for any learner who are not accustomed to the process.
