El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua • El Salvador- Capital is San Salvador • Long history of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions • Honduras- Capital is Tegucigalpa • Mestizo- Indigenous and European • Nicaragua- Capital is Managua • The two largest freshwater lakes in Central America – Lake Managua and Lake Nicaragua
