Quick Connect and Databases • Can write the scanned image to a database table • Can pull Index values from a database table • Can write Index values to a database table
Quick Connect – Scanned Image • Can use database as a Destination • Access • SQL • Oracle • Writes the image as a BLOB • Stores the filename and extension
Quick Connect – Pulling Index Fields • Mapped to a database field • Only values in the database can be entered • Can still output index file as XML, CSV, TSV • Can combine user-entered fields with selected fields
Quick Connect – Writing Index Fields • Fields are mapped to a database table • Names DO NOT have to be the same
Scan to File • Quick Connect (and the database destination) ship with the Suite Bundle • Elements and Office ship with Scan to File (and no database destination) • Quick Connect CAN be added to Elements and Office • Both Quick Connect and Scan to File ship with Eval and NFR versions
eCopy Address Book • Searched along with GAL and Outlook contacts • User MUST choose to save the email address • Can have multiple eCopy Address book databases • Addresses can be captured, entered, or imported • Available to all users • Default Password for SA account -- e+C0py2007_@x
eCopy Address Book - Configuration • Enable eCopy Address Book • Use Default or create a new one • Allow user to save new contacts
Bonus – eCopy PDF Pro Office Cloud Storage • Retrieve files from the Cloud • Save files to the Cloud • Convert files while saving to the Cloud • eCopy PDF Pro Office 5.3 • PDF Converter 7.3
