  2. Getting There • A one way ticket from Pittsburgh to Dubai would cost $928.19 • For an adult passport book and card it will cost $165. For application you will need two forms of identification • No vaccinations are required , but Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B immunizations are recommended • One United States dollar is equal to 3.75 dirham’s in Dubai

  3. Living There • Arabian Ranches neighborhood is where I will stay. This neighborhood offers plenty of entertainment and shopping. Including a twenty store retail outlet with a supermarket, coffee shop and restaurants. There is a top English speaking school within the community. There is a golf course, equestrian center and 24 hour security and maintenance. There are plenty of parks, swimming pools and safe areas for children to play.

Getting Around • Taxis, buses and ferry boats are available forms of transportation. • The Dubai Metro is a popular form of mass transit. • For the Metro a one day ticket to any zone is 14.00 Dirhams • A silver card is available for 20 Dirhams and can be used on the local buses as well as the Metro.

  5. Playing There • Dubai offers lots of shopping and restaurants. Including the MeenaBizar which is a famous shopping area. • There are numerous art galleries and museums in Dubai. For example, the Green Art Gallery and the Majlis Gallery are very well known in Dubai. • There are many beachfronts that run along Jumeira Road. These beaches get an average of 12 hours of sunlight a day.
