Important Links: Legislative Fiscal Bureau • LFB Website: www.legis.wisconsin.gov/lfb • Click on “Publications” • Recent Publications: Budget summary, memos, analyses, earmark report, etc. • 2013-15 Budget: Budget Papers • Fiscal Bureau prepares “budget papers” or summaries. • Each budget paper includes: • Current law or current situation on the item. • A summary of the Governor’s proposal. • Discussion points. • Alternatives. • Click on “Joint Committee on Finance” • Executive Session notices, Committee members, etc.

Budget Timeline • June 18-19: Assembly Action • Two Democratic amendments (no amendments supported by Democratic caucus) • Republican substitute amendment • June 20-21: Senate Action • 54 Democratic amendments • Zero Republican amendments • Gubernatorial action • Governor expected to issue vetoes and sign bill into law on Sunday

Legislative Action • AA 3 to ASA 1 to AB 40 • Technical corrections • School voucher modifications (expected Gubernatorial veto) • Modifications to various property tax exemptions, sale of state owned property, specific projects • Prohibit ordinances assessing fees on real estate brokers • Payday loan provisions (applicable to payday loans, not installment loans)
