1881-1890 1881 -Clara Barton organizes American Red Cross - Some commercial vehicles are required to display liscense 1883 - Civil Rights act of 1875 declared unconstitutional 1889 - Washington admitted as a state - Prudence Crandall died 1890 - Wilber and Orville Wright print the “Dayton Tattler” in Dayton, Ohio
