  1. Bell Work – Tuesday, Sept. 3 Make sure you have a sharpened pencil and notebook paper. You’ll be taking notes today. Take out a sheet of notebook paper and title it Bell Work Week 2. You will turn in bell work this week on Friday. Write today’s date. Then list the names of three of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens and how you plan to use them this week.

  2. Bell Work – Wednesday, Sept. 3 Make sure you have a sharpened pencil. Take out your Bell Work from yesterday. Write today’s date underneath yesterday’s. Write at least 3 sentences about a time you were bullied and how it made you feel. The bully could have been at school, at home, or wherever.You do not have to share this.

  3. Bell Work – Thursday, Sept. 4 Make sure you have a sharpened pencil. Take out your Bell Work from yesterday. Write today’s date underneath yesterday’s. Write at least 3 sentences about a time you bullied someone else and how you could have handled the situation better.

  4. Bell Work – Friday, Sept. 5 Make sure you have a sharpened pencil and notebook paper. You’ll be taking notes today. Turn in your bullying pamphlet. Take out your Bell Work from yesterday. Write today’s date underneath yesterday’s. We have a special guest speaker today. Write down at least two questions you’d like to ask Officer Riehl about bullying.

  5. Bell Work – Tuesday, Sept. 9 Make sure you have a sharpened pencil and notebook paper. You’ll be taking notes today. On your Bell Work Week 3 paper, write three ways drugs could negatively affect your life.

  6. Bell Work – Wednesday, Sept. 11 Make sure you have a sharpened pencil and notebook paper. You’ll be taking notes today. On your Bell Work Week 3 paper, define carcinogen. Then write an example of a carcinogen.

  7. Bell Work – Thursday, Sept. 12 Make sure you have a sharpened pencil and your notes from the last two days. We will be reviewing today. On your Bell Work Week 3 paper, write four things that can lead to arteriosclerosis.

  8. Bell Work – Friday, September 13 Make sure you have a sharpened pencil and your notes from the last two days. We will be reviewing today. On your Bell Work Week 3 paper, write the definition of emphysema and leukoplakia. Turn in your Bell Work.

  9. September 16, 2013 • Take out a new sheet of notebook paper. Title it “Bell Work Week 4.” You’ll turn this in at the end of the week. • Find a group of TWO OR THREE (not six) people. Be seated with your group by the time the music ends. • Come up with the catchiest slogan you can think of for our “No Smoking” campaign. Write it on your paper.

  10. September 17, 2013 • Take out “Bell Work Week 4.” • Take out your homework (p. 21-22 of workbook). • If you didn’t do it, you have three minutes to finish. Good luck. • Use your homework and notes to study for your quiz.
