  1. Ladera Ranch Little LeagueElite Baseball Club April 20, 2015 7:00pm

  2. Opening Remarks Lauren Whittaker, President Ladera Ranch Little League www.facebook.com/laderaranchll

  3. Our Vision The Ladera Ranch Little League Board of Directors is striving to keep the players and families of our community invested and included in Ladera Ranch Little League. As more and more travel ball programs come to fruition, Little League is seeing a departure of talent and interest. With the launch of our new club level program, we aim to give those more advanced players who have left, a reason to come home. For those who are contemplating leaving, we give you a reason to stay. And, for those looking forward, we give you a reason to be excited about what is to come, here at home. www.facebook.com/laderaranchll

  4. Introducing… LRLL’s very own Travel Baseball Club. www.facebook.com/laderaranchll

  5. What is it? A competitive travel baseball club completely sponsored and managed by Ladera Ranch Little League for players in divisions 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U and 13U . This club level program is designed as a supplement not a replacement for instructional Fall Ball. The club will operate independently under the same LRLL umbrella. www.facebook.com/laderaranchll

  6. Why Coyotes? • Trust and confidence in your league • Proven baseball and family experience • More competitive level of play • Reasonable and affordable pricing • Advanced coaching and instruction • Attractive quality uniforms www.facebook.com/laderaranchll

  7. Timing • Team formations begin now • Possible try-outs to be scheduled in May/June • Team rosters complete by mid-June • Games and tournaments run from August through November • No travel /club team in Spring www.facebook.com/laderaranchll

  8. Team Formation The club will consist of two types of teams: League Based Teams Based on interest and field availability, LRLL may form teams within each division. Possible try-outs and placement to be held early June. Manager Based Teams Individual managers can ‘drop in’ a team of 10 to 12 players, of which at least 90 %, program wide, must be Ladera Ranch residents and/or have played with Ladera Ranch Little League within the past 2 spring seasons. For non-LRLL players, players must live within LL District 68 boundaries. Managers must apply and be approved by LRLL (more info to follow on that process). *The final age groups and number of teams will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, number of available managers, available field space, and number of available players. *Player participation is not guaranteed. If a player does not get chosen to be on a team, LRLL Fall ball is a great alternative. www.facebook.com/laderaranchll

  9. Game Play • 9U & 10U will play normal LL distance • 11U & 12U will play 50/70 • There is no minimum play • Pitching safeguards will be in place to control number of pitches thrown www.facebook.com/laderaranchll

  10. Schedule • Primary schedule for each team will be within the District 68 Elite League. These games are played throughout the area, typically on Sundays, time and location based on league. • Secondary schedule are tournaments that can be played throughout the region. The tournaments played will be decided upon by the teams (Managers & Parents to determine). We are looking to have 4-6 tournaments played per team throughout the August-November season. www.facebook.com/laderaranchll

  11. Coaching & Instruction All Managers and Teams will be supported by instructors and baseball experts from throughout the area. This might include: • Specialized Pitching / Hitting / Fielding Coaches • Coaching Instruction • Baseball Team Best Practices • Physical Development (strength, stretching, etc.) • Physical Therapy (pre-conditioning, pre-injury, rehab, etc.) • Guest Speakers & Coaches (Professional, Semi-Professional, etc.) *Full background checks performed by LRLL on all full time and guest Managers, Coaches and Instructors. www.facebook.com/laderaranchll

  12. How much will it cost? Estimated per player cost of $400 to $500.* Costs will include: • Manager & Coaches • MLB Quality Majestic Uniforms (3 game/practice jerseys, 2 pants, 2 hats, socks, belt, shorts) • Baseballs and team equipment • Field use / Permits • Entry fees to local Distric 68 league • Other costs associated with overall program Tournament fees, private instruction costs, and any other non-fixed cost will be at the discretion of each team (Manager & Parents) and will be the responsibility of the manager to collect from the players on a team-by-team basis. *This program will be cost neutral for LRLL. All listed costs and inclusions are estimates. Final costs and inclusions will be provided at a later date. www.facebook.com/laderaranchll
