GOLD Implementation Guidelines for ATS Data Link Services

This document provides an overview of the Global Operational Data Link Document (GOLD) implementation, service provision, and operator readiness. It covers procedures, RCP/RSP implementation, and plans for a follow-on work program to amend the GOLD for its 2nd edition by the first quarter of 2013. The GOLD supersedes previous guidance materials for ATS Data Link Services in various regions. It offers guidance on data link service provision, operator preparation, controller and flight crew procedures, and performance-based specifications. Accessed from specific websites, GOLD aims to enhance data link implementations globally. Let's all contribute to its continuous improvement.
