1. Rodeo Art 2010-2011

2. The Assignment You will complete a realistic drawing based on a photo. This photo must taken by you or someone you know. It cannot have been published. The subject: a western or Native American portrait, still life, or landscape. Pencil or colored pencil drawing, or pastel.

3. The Assignment You will have 6 weeks to complete your drawing. Must be done by Christmas break.

4. Rules This is a competition. This must be your work only. No drawing on each other’s work. You may only work on your Rodeo Art project here in the classroom. You may not take it home. You must have at least one photo that you work from. If you use multiple photos for reference you must turn in all of them with your work.

6. Scholarships Seniors are eligible for scholarships—your work does not have to go to auction to apply. I applied for and was awarded the scholarship for $3000 per year for four years of college—total = $12,000 Now it’s even more- $15,000.
