Meeting Plan • 1 hour meeting 2 X per month then monthly. • Operating committee will meet to develop recommendations to larger group. • Will announce members once created. • Regular participants will become core team who will receive equity offer when BITT is spun off as an independent organization.
Strategic Plan for Projects • Successful strategy gets funds through subcontracts to affiliated institutions. • Developing opportunities through white papers and consulting activities. • Maybe 2 yrs before affiliated institutions get funding. • Projects must require multiple participants. • Projects for individuals will be passed along.
Organization Plan • Projectivity, Inc. • Projectivity to fund initial effort • Anticipate a two year horizon • Launch Spinoff – early 2013 • Translational Science Division • Tom Caruso, Director • Business development staff • Project staff to be hired as needed
Talent Acquisition and Support Plan • Develop staffing plan to support Think Tank contributors --- ‘Stage Hands to the BITT players’ • Consulting Resource Coordinator • Infrastructure driven by project requirements • Resources made available to the Researcher
Business Development Plan • Elevate your Institution/projects’ visibility • Expand funding opportunities through BITT • Place your associates through project task orders • Grow BITT’s reputation
MarketingPlan • Participation in two CIO-SP3 partnerships if awarded gives BITT a contract vehicle and views to task orders. • Prepare a white paper on a specific topic that will attract government agency interest and visibility for BITT. • Contactreferrals from BITT participants to government agency representatives and potential government contractor partners • Various networking efforts • Blogs, Social Networks, Webinars, etc. • Key conferences and DC area program announcements • Plenty of individual calling/meeting and follow up activities • Building teaming relationships • Response to new solicitations
