  3. What is TV – Turnoff Week? A week when kids across the Nation choose to not watch TV and be more active.

  4. Why you should participate? TV Free week is only 7 days long! 1 WEEK!

  5. Alternatives to TV • Read a book • Play outside • Do a craft project • Do homework • Cook a meal

  6. More Alternatives to TV • Help with chores • Entertain your siblings • Spend time with friends • Go for a walk • Ride your bike • Go too the Public Library

  7. Recruitment • Get your Family and Friends involved • Ask them to participate with you • Having support will help make the week more FUN!

  8. After TV-Turnoff Week • You will feel proud of yourself, for accomplishing a goal • You will have new ideas of what to do when you have free time.

  9. Share • After your week off from TV take time to share how you spent your week • Invite friends over to play TV-Free
